Epsom salt has saved me more times than I can count, especially when I was recovering from surgery and felt like everyone’s emotions were clinging to me like static. It’s still one of the first things I reach for when my energy feels heavy.

Epsom salt isn’t just for sore muscles. It’s a spiritual purifier, used for centuries to draw out energetic debris. When you mix it with a little baking soda in a warm bath, you’re not just soaking, you’re steeping in a sacred soup that pulls emotional sludge from your aura.

Here’s what I do:

  • I light a candle, play soft music (sometimes a crystal bowl recording), and step in with full intention.

  • As I soak, I visualize the heaviness, grief, stress, even energy that’s not mine, melting off my body and swirling down the drain in murky shades of gray or brown.

I picture the water absorbing it all like a sponge.

And when I rise from that tub, I take a moment to stand still. I imagine myself stepping into golden light, like a beam from the sun itself, wrapping around me like armor. It’s not just a bath, it’s a spiritual release valve. A full-body energetic detox. A coming home to myself.
