The Benefits of Crystal Infused Water
With how polluted and stressful our lives are, many are turning to crystal infused water as a way to potentially to boost their vitality. The human body is made up of mostly water so drinking water is essential to life.
Surprisingly, as many as seven percent of adults say that they don’t drink any water at all. Statistics also show that almost half of the adults in the United States do not drink enough water daily. While we won’t go into detail about water being essential for weight management, energy levels, and flushing out toxins, just know that a lot can happen if you don’t drink enough water.
What if you could make drinking water potentially even better for you? Could you make your water more interesting? What if you could make your water naturally sweeter without adding sugar or other artificial sweeteners? You can -- with crystals.
First, we need to talk about the crystals that are not safe to put in water. Avoid any crystal that contains lead, copper, or aluminum such as malachite, azurite, chalcopyrite, galena, amazonite, mohawkite, turquoise, aquamarine, garnet, labradorite, ruby, sapphire, emerald and more. If you’re not certain please do your research to find out if the crystal is safe for your water.
Next, let’s talk about the benefits of using crystal infused water:
1. It’s like a battery
If you’ve ever heard of structured water or gem water, that’s what crystal infused water is. Scientifically speaking, structured water is the molecular arrangement of water molecules that exist when water is near water loving surfaces. Structured water is created when you put your charged crystal in water. The majority of water in your body is structured water but it constantly needs recharging. That’s where crystal infused water has the potential to help.
2. Physical benefits
Crystal infused water is thought to help with energy, concentration, focus, and sleep. In addition, many believe that it can help with optimal weight, support the immune system, help digestion and detox the body. Plus some crystals make your water taste sweeter.
How Do You Make Crystal Infused Water?
It’s pretty simple once you select safe crystals such as those from the quartz family like amethyst, rose quartz, clear quartz, citrine, etc. Choose the crystal that has meaning for you. You can go HERE to see what the top five stones represent.
You will want to use a glass container with a lid.
I highly recommend getting our gemstone crystal glass water bottle to make it convenient for you and so you can grab and go during your busy day. If you prefer a straw so you can us it at home, office, or restaurant, you’ll love these gemstone straws.
Clean and Recharge Your Crystals.
Be sure that before the first use and after every use, you recharge your crystals. Rinse your crystal under running water. You can also gently scrub it with a toothbrush. Then set it in the sunlight and moonlight (especially on a New Moon or Full Moon) for a day, or a minimum of four hours. Note: always check for any cracks or small pieces that could leave tiny pieces in your water.
Fill your water bottle with water.
Spring water is best and you can use tap water. Distilled water is not recommended.
Charge Your Crystals.
Once you’re ready to use your crystal, charge it with your intentions. What are you looking to get from using that crystal? Is it confidence, peace, love? Use all the properties of the crystal. Visualize a bright light coming from the crystal into the water. Mediate for several minutes while you do this.
You don’t have to use your water right away. You can even put it in the refrigerator if you like it cold. This is why I like to have multiple crystal water bottles with multiple crystals ready so that I can sip and use them throughout the day depending on need.
You can even use crystal infused water in your skincare routine and put some in your bathwater. It’s also great for watering your plants!
