This 7 piece bronze Tibetan metal singing bowl set is handcrafted using traditional methods in Nepal. Hand-hammered Tibetan singing bowls are made, not tuned, which means each set is one of a kind and never perfect pitch. Each bowl creates multiple tones and frequencies depending on where you strike, which mallet you use, or if you rub around the edge. Your bowls will range from C to B, and could be sharp or flat. This is the nature of these unique and beautiful handmade bowls.
Each bowl is made of bronze which is repeatedly hammered and heated, then rounded, shaved and polished. The process of making one bowl can take approximately 4 hours.
The set includes seven bowls, each of which is associated with a different chakra or energy center in the body.
